These days many of us have a constantly growing media library, with our favorite music, movies, and photos in a variety of formats and locations. The ASUS O!Play is designed to easily bring your media into your living room, without sacrificing quality. Enjoy video in full HD 1080p resolution, full-fidelity audio, and photo slideshows on your HDTV or home theater setup. With impressively wide format support, a wealth of connection options, and playback over a network or directly from USB and eSATA drives, the O!Play is an elegant and modern media solution. Such a cool HD media player supports formats include full hd 1080p mts.
If you are interested in recording with HD camcorder, like Panasonic HDC-HS900 which give MTS extension, you can directly put or transfer these MTS files to Asus O!Play via HDMI. However, before enjoy them with O!Play, you may want to do simply editing like cutting off unwanted or unimportant parts and then merge or join the trimmed MTS files into 1 file while keeping the same format, without losing any quality. Sometimes you can also put them in a format for devices to watch anywhere in the house or on the go.

I am using Canon HF M300 to record videos and the camcorder saves AVCHD files in .mts format. The Canon VIXIA HF M300 captured 1920 x 1080 24Mbps Full HD Recording. I connect the Canon Camcorder to my Panasonic HDTV via direct USB. However, I found my shooting video of the HF M300 have some pause and interlace in the process of recording. So I need to delete much unwanted mts clips and join into one big files. So I asked for some help on some forums and was recommended to try freeware TSmuxer, TSsniper which can help me to split and merge mts files. But it is frustrated for Mac users because most of them can only work on Windows platform. Then one of my friend recommended to a new MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 cutter/joiner software for Final Mate for Mac exactly what I want – delete the unwant .mts clips and merge HF M300 1080/60p meaningful MTS files to one single MTS files without re-encoding. And I had succeed play those merged .mts files on my Panasonic TV. Read The Full Story

I have a Panasonic Camcorder, HDC- SD90, which produces .mts files with 1920*1080 28Mbps. I record some more mts videos by sd90 and want to upload to Smugmug for sharing with my friends. Smugmug does a great job with MTS video, it supports 1080p HD and can take an MTS file directly. The upload times for an MTS file shot in 1080p (28Mbps!) though are too long, so I need to compress 1080/28Mbps video before uploading .To solve the problems, I recommend a professional program named Final Mate. This professional Camcorder Software – Final Mate can convert/shrink Panasonic AVCHD footages to MOV with best quality for uploading Smugmug Pro. Read The Full Story

I have Sony NEX-VG10 to shoot videos in AVCHD format, and I have a Blu Ray player (Panasonic DNP-BD60) connected to my TV. Even though, my iMac provides a 24″ display, I prefer watching them on HDTV with the Blu-ray player.
When looking for the straightforward solution without transcoding the footage, I got Final Mate for Mac and Adobe Encore CS5 to complete the process. There is less quality loss when burning AVCHD to Blu-ray Disc on Mac, as no re-encoding is performed at any stage. I used Final Mate to trim and join the m2ts files for lossless output, and then import into Adobe Encore CS5 to author the final blu-ray disk. Read The Full Story

I have a Panasonic Camcorder, HDC-TM90, which produces .mts files with 1920*1080p. I record some more mts videos by tm90 and want to upload to youtube for sharing with my friends. But YouTube does no support AVCHD files yet. One of the fast solutions is to convert 1080p AVCHD videos to Youtube support format, then upload the video to YouTube. Now when you upload video to Youtube, Youtube will be cutomatically converted the video to webm format. So for solve this problem, I recommend use Aunsoft Final Mate as the MTS to Youtube Converter with WebM Video Codec.

WebM is an audio-video format designed to provide a royalty-free, open video compression format for use with HTML5 video. The project’s development is sponsored by Google. A WebM file consists of VP8 video and Vorbis audio streams, in a container based on a profile of Matroska. Read The Full Story

Microsoft PowerPoint is the most commonly used program for creating slideshows on Windows. There are many formats listed as supported to be inserted to PowerPoint, e.g. WMV, ASF, DVR-MS, MPG, AVI, MP4, MOV. However, you need to install related codec or QuickTime to play MP4/MOV files or AVI movies.
If you would like to present HD videos on PPT, such as the AVCHD recordings from your camcorders, you need to convert them to MS PowerPoint supported formats. Aunsoft Final Mate is the recommended PowerPoint video converter for you, as it does not transcode AVCHD MTS/M2TS clips on Windows 7, but also join and cut recordings into a single file. I use Sony HDR-CX700 for recording 1920 x 1080 MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 MTS files. And I have a WD TV Live plus player and a WD TV Live Hub. I use WD TV Live Plus Player to watch my cx700v camcorder recording mts files. Because of some pause in the process of recording, ssome mts files need to be joined into one big file. After google search, I downloaded a trial version of the tsmuxer, so I could merge my mts files together on my Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The process of merged files goes without mistake through tsmuxer program, but when I use the stream and play the lossless output mts files on WD TV Live plus player, the files only play the first 10 seconds.
I asked for some help to fix problem playing joined mts to wd tv on some forums and was recommended to try to convert the Sony cx700v mts to MP4 . So I search a best quality mts converter, some people recommended to try Final Mate for Mac which can help me to convert and merge mts files with highest quality. And I download a free trial version of Final Mate for Mac, so I could convert and join my Sony cx700 .mts files together. The files play fine without any problem. It offers the one fastest way to convert and combine MTS files into big one for further streaming and playing on WD TV Live plus player with perfect quality . Read The Full Story

If you copy the AVCHD folder from HD camcorder to the external hard drive, you may notice that there is delay/pause between the playback of each file on HDTV while streaming .through Popcorn Hour C-200. It is the re-initialization pauses between each clip, and it even happens to most network media players like HDI Dune, PS3 Xtreamer Pro, AC Ryan PlayOn, TVIX, and so on.
To fix sequential playback pause between MTS files on Popcorn Hour C200, or say other media players, one of the solutions is to stitch/join the files together on PC or Mac. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac (Windows users: Aunsoft Final Mate) is the perfect AVCHD video management software with lossless MTS support, keeping original quality. Read The Full Story

I have a Panasonic HDC-SD900 camcorder, which is an excellent compact camera, offering features that few of its rivals can match. It features 1920 x 1080 60p MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Full HD video. And I would like using my new TV – Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV for displaying these recorded 1080P MTS videos. And the TV can directly stream/put or display Raw Panasonic SD900 MTS files to Plasma TV for enjoyment via HDMI. Because of rocking of the lens and some pause in the process of recording, some extra clips will come out, so before enjoy them with Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasma TV, I want to do simply editing like cutting off unwanted or unimportant parts and then merge or join the cut several meaningful MTS files into One Big MTS file with no re-encoding and without losing any quality. I have a Sony Handycam, Sony CX700, which produces .mts files for each clip I press the start recording and pause button. The videos will be used as a presentation on my website. I use VideoJS as the private web server, and make the video compatible to most browsers with HTML5 code.
However, I would like to put some clips together and cut some useless segments and get videos in WebM format. After googling solutions for converting CX700 AVCHD to WebM format for web sharing with HTML5, I find Aunsoft Final Mate as the best choice for dealing with the videos for web sharing. It provides direct .webm as output format, and also allows me to download selective clips for joining and editing. Read The Full Story
