I have a Panasonic HDC-SD900 camcorder, which is an excellent compact camera, offering features that few of its rivals can match. It features 1920 x 1080 60p MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Full HD video.  And I would like using my new TV – Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV for displaying these recorded 1080P MTS videos. And the TV can directly stream/put or display Raw Panasonic SD900 MTS files to Plasma TV for enjoyment via HDMI. Because of rocking of the lens and some pause in the process of recording, some extra clips will come out, so before enjoy them with Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasma TV, I want to do simply editing like cutting off unwanted or unimportant parts and then merge or join the cut several meaningful MTS files into One Big MTS file with no re-encoding and without losing any quality. Convert/Edit Panasonic HMC150 Videos to FCE and then Distribute via BlipTV and TubeMogul

I am recording on a Panasonic HMC-150 (typically in 1080p30 and 1080p24)) and do my editing in FCE. However I need a program to convert the recorded files into something FCE can recognize.  I do online tutorials and distribute to roughly a couple dozen different sites through BlipTV and TubeMogul. So far I’ve been limited to recording in 720p30 because it’s the best format that I can work with through iMovie (I use imovie to import the raw video, export as a quicktime and then import into FCE for final editing then do a final QT conversion to mpeg-4 for upload; and to be honest not real excited on the quality I’m getting as a finished video. So I need a program which can let me convert Panasonic HMC-150 1080p MTS to high quality FCE suitable format for editing. After editing, I need distribute to different sites through BlipTV and TubeMogul.
